The newly recruited firefighters will accept the huge challenge of charity.
The challenge will involve rolling out as many 25-meter-long flat hoses between six recruits in four hours.
The Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service Team (CFRS) will also raise safety awareness throughout the day and provide opportunities to meet with the crew.
Rolling Hose for Christmas will be held in downtown Carlisle from 10 am to 2 pm tomorrow.
Donations will be made on the same day and on the JustGiving page.
The money raised will be donated to the firefighters charity.
